Indian head massage is a Hindu massage technique, tracing back to the ancient ways of Ayurvedic Indian health care.

Used for over 4,000 years to improve overall health, It is also known as champissage or shiroabhyanga.

Indian head massage combines techniques to include various massage strokes and acupressure. Treatment includes kneading and probing of the neck and shoulder areas to release tension and the effects of stress

The scalp is massaged, using squeezing, tapping, rubbing or prodding motions, facial pressure points are also manipulated to relieve sinus pressure, increase and stimulate circulation. The treatment also includes massage of the back, shoulders and neck.
